Our new system of member types is fairly straight forward, but will help organize who's allowed in what area. This is separate from your rank, which is a general evaluation of your involvement in SK.
There are 5 member types, as follows:
Ambassador - A person representing another guild on our forums.
Ronin - This is a brand new member, someone who has just joined SilentKnights. A person of this group is a welcome visitor of SilentKnights, but has yet to establish themselves with the guild.
Member - A person who's been with us for a short while. Members can do almost anything in the guild.
(A Ronin may become a member by applying to become one in the Member requests forum. From there, they must be accepted by 2/3 of the current Members, Veterans, or by the Council of Elders. They can also be nominated without their knowledge by any Member, Veteran, or Elder in their respective forums, with a second to the nomination.)
Veteran - A member who has been with us for an extensive amount of time. At this level, the person understands what SK is all about, and is a trusted member of SilentKnights.
(A member may become a veteran by being nominated either in the Council of Elders, or in the Veteran's forum, with a second. They must pass a 2/3 vote)
Elder - The highest level a member could achieve. Elders represent the guild as a whole, and handle much of the decision making that goes on behind the scenes.
(A Veteran may become an Elder by nomination in the Council of Elders by any Elder, with a second and a unanimous vote)
OldWolf retains the power to grant promotions in this system without vote, however unlikely.
